FROM PRACTICE TO PRESENCE There's something profound about stepping away from the day's demands and into a space where we can truly listen—to ourselves, our bodies, and the wisdom within. Our practice provides that space. Reflecting on this past year of retreats and how each has been a living, breathing experience, shaped by those who show up and the energy we create together. It's never just about yoga poses—it's about realigning with who we are beneath the layers of daily life and forging meaningful connections. Whether you practice online or in person, I hope you feel that it allows you to cultivate presence, explore your inner landscape, and develop tools to meet whatever arises—on and off the mat—with clarity and ease. DRY BRUSHING With the change of season, our bodies naturally seek to shed what's no longer needed—whether that's stagnation, heaviness, or tension we've been carrying. One simple way to support this process is through dry brushing, a practice that stimulates the lymphatic system, encourages circulation, and promotes a sense of lightness and renewal. How to Dry Brush: Use a natural bristle brush on dry skin before showering. Start at the feet and brush in long, gentle strokes toward the heart. Focus on areas that tend to feel sluggish, such as the legs, arms, and lower back. You can also spend a bit more time behind the knees and inner elbows. Shower afterward and follow with an ayurvedic oil (I've added a link to my favorites below) or lotion for added nourishment. Enjoy!
