Off the Mat — Reflection

As summer deepens, there is both steadiness and spaciousness within our community.

Thank you for the outpouring of support and presence around the new Chaska space. Each class reminds me of the power of dedicated practice and collective energy. The rope wall is now installed, opening up new possibilities for alignment, support, and exploration in your practice.

This month brings a natural rhythm of movement and pause:

I will be away July 1-2 and again July 9-13 for family and nature time. Between these pauses, I’m offering a special pop-up class on Thursday, July 3rd at Vital Motion in Chaska from 8:30–10:00 AM. I hope you’ll join me;try out the ropes, tressler and space for all!

I create these offerings to meet real needs—physical, mental, and emotional. Whether you’re practicing regularly, dropping in occasionally, or simply staying connected here, your participation makes this work possible and meaningful and I appreciate your continued presence.

Revolve and Expand

While I’m away this month, here is a short twisting sequence to keep you feeling spacious, centered, and steady. Twists help maintain mobility in the spine, support digestion, and cultivate clarity in both body and mind.

Looking ahead, there are still a few spaces remaining in Release: An Embodied Practice, our August day retreat in Minnetrista. You can join for: A personalized therapeutic retreat day (August 8, 9, 11, or 12), offering integrative care through private yoga, specialized ayurvedic and taoist bodywork for you. The group retreat day on August 10, combining movement, a hands on pottery practice, nourishing meals, leisure by the pool, and meditative practices in community. In October, we gather in Sedona for Aligned in Sedona (October 21–25). This 4-night retreat begins on the new moon, inviting profound rest, renewal, and reconnection in one of the world’s most energetically potent landscapes. Expect Iyengar Yoga, Taoist longevity rituals, Ayurvedic bodywork, nourishing meals by our private chef, meditation, and space to hike, join with the energy of Sedona and simply be. This retreat is designed as a reset – immersive, grounding, and transformative. Rooms are filling, so reach out soon if you feel called to join. These offerings are part of a growing rhythm of seasonal retreats experiences I plan to return to each year: Summer: Local retreats for recalibration and personalized care Fall/Winter: Drive-to weekend retreats for deep rest and community connection Fall/Winter: Destination retreats in sacred landscapes for immersive transformation
