As we close the year, I keep coming back to how meaningful it is to share this practice with our community. Whether you show up online or in person, what you bring to these classes —your consistency, attention, presence, and humanness — is what shapes our circle and gives it strength.
Iyengar Yoga teaches us to create clarity in the body so the inner channels can open and energy can move without obstruction. When alignment is precise, the breath and attention are fluid. When something is blocked — physically, mentally, or emotionally — the practice reveals it. Not to discourage us, but to illuminate the places where life is asking for awareness, grace, adjustments, or support. Our practice shows us there is always a way to meet what is in front of us with honesty and intention.
You’ll need: a small bowl, warm water, a towel, and a piece of paper.
Add some warm water to your bowl and place your hands in it for a few breaths. Let your attention reach into the sensation of the water on your skin.
Ask quietly: “What in my life is asking for awareness, grace, a small adjustment, or support?” Be honest with whatever comes.
Gently move your fingers through the water. Notice what shifts in the body or mind as the surface moves.
Lift your hands out and watch the water return to stillness. Clarity emerges once you’ve met what’s truly there.
When the surface is calm, write down one simple refinement for the season ahead — something you can genuinely assimilate into your daily life.
This small ritual creates space, clarity, and intention — the same qualities we cultivate on the mat.
Namaste,
Tiffany
The Gift of Practice Classes will continue through the holidays — a steady place to land during a season that often feels full and fast. Bring a friend to any online class, and you both practice for free. Each person books their own spot and uses the code GIFT at checkout. A simple thank-you — and a meaningful way to share the practice with someone who might need steadiness right now.
Opening The Year From Hawai'i During the first week of January, my family and I are heading back to Hawai‘i for a long-overdue trip to spend time with the ocean, land, family & friends. I’ll be teaching live classes from the Big Island — starting with a special workshop, as we enter 2026!
